Whose Faces are these in the Fish Tank??

Bob does occassionally take pictures of his fish tank. He recently re-set it up again after an old one developed a leak. Then he went out and caught some sunnies from a nearby lake to stock it with. So he was taking a new round of pictures using his cell phone. If he gets a good one, he likes to use it at work as desktop background pictures and also as backgrounds on his phone. I’m sure we have all done this, of a pet, a scene we like, or whatever. So he took a series of pictures and was checking them over for an area to isolate for his wallpaper. It was then that he noticed that in only one of the pictures, something else showed up. Bob zoomed in to the top left of the tank and saw something. And it wasn’t fish. There was this sort of bluish cast in the corner showing up in only one picture.

This was the evening of November 2, 2016 at 6 pm. Bob sent me an email at work with the picture attached. Bob wrote:

“Want to see something eerie? Blow this picture up and look at the left side.”

Here is the unretouched version. All I’ve done to this picture is adjust the pixel dimensions for uploading to the web.

My email response: “WTF is THAT?? Is the glass maybe picking up some reflection on the TV?? Try another one from another angle. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEzzzzzz”

I continued to ponder over and examine the picture on my screen at work. I wrote this to Bob:

“I see another eye if you look to the left of the corner seam. It’s a different face I think. Do you have the TV on?”

Bob: “Yea, the picture is disturbing, it is vaguely like ‘my buddy’, different, but the eyes are the same.”

Later that evening, I talked to Bob on the phone and he said the TV was not on because he didn’t want any possible reflections in the pictures he was taking. As it is, he got the reflection of the lamp on a table, which is showing up to the right of the bubbles.

If you can’t zoom in on this picture the way I can on my tablet, I’ve enlarged the part of the picture in question, lightened it a little and cropped it so that’s the only part you see. If you can enlarge this picture on a tablet or phone, then zoom in so you can see the faces. WHO ARE  THEY?? We are totally creeped out by this. We’ve ruled out quite a few things that you might be wondering. There was no TV on. There was no one else in the room, just Bob. The faces were not in all the pictures, just one.

I see two people. If you look at the seam of the corner of the tank, which is the verticle blue-ish light line that goes up the middle and then there is a tube that pumps air into the bubble wand (and the 2nd tube is the reflection) there appears to be one face to the left side of the corner seam (I see her as a kind of heavy-set woman with a large beehive sort of hairdo) and to the right of the corner seam is a man. A creepy looking guy with seemingly pointy ears. Good grief, who are these two and WHY ARE THEIR FACES IN THE FISH TANK!??

It’s now 11/13 as I write this post, so it’s been a few days. I have sat in front of this tank since then, positioned myself so that the light reflection is exactly where it is in the photo, turned on the TV, turned off the TV. I took my own set of pictures from exactly the angle where Bob would have been. No reflections. No faces. Just sunnies swimming casually around. Bob did say that they did not appear to be perturbed. So we are left to wonder… is Bob’s “buddy” finding a way to re-insert himself into our life? Are there inter-dimensional beings in our midst that can only show up in a chance photo as a reflection? Just strange… so strange. I was a little freaked out coming home that night. If it was the first thing that ever happened here, maybe I’d have been more so, but I guess to some degree, we are getting used to the weirdness. I went to bed that night and actually slept quite soundly.
